I lead engineering as the CTO of Botpress, building the infrastructure layer for autonomous AI agents.

My roots are in platform engineering. Early on, I realized the most powerful thing an engineer can do is build systems that automate their own job away. That mindset ingrained in me a deep obsession with leverage, scalable architecture, and developer experience. Today, that same philosophy drives how I lead engineering teams: build robust primitives so developers can focus entirely on solving novel problems.

The current inflection point in AI feels like the ultimate extension of that idea. We are no longer just automating deployment pipelines; we are automating complex, cognitive workflows. We are transitioning from software that simply executes commands to software that figures out how to achieve goals. It's an incredibly exciting time to be building in the trenches of this paradigm shift.

Beyond the codebase, I'm deeply invested in cultivating the engineering community. Whether I'm organizing local events or speaking on stage about scalable architecture and AI, I believe the best ideas are born in the open.

When I finally step away from the keyboard and the crowds, you'll usually find me climbing big rocks or cooking a great meal.

Building leverage. Automating the rest.
